MORE WORK SPACE IN MY CRAFT ROOM

Hello, everyone!
So glad you stopped by for a visit.
I have been thinking about this addition to my craft room for a while now, but, between one thing or another, the project was always put on the back burner, but a couple of weeks ago, I finally had the chance to finish it.

Although the craft room has plenty of counter space, I always had trouble trying to put together my larger wreaths, so I always ended up having to lay them on the floor to work on them. Not very comfortable at all!
A center island was the answer for me.

Come on in!

The room is not that big, so I didn't want anything too huge and that would interfere with the rest of my space.
I bought two cube organizers at Target, set them up in an L shape and my husband built me a counter.

By setting them up this way, it left me plenty of room in the back to walk around and for my stool.

And now I have a great area to work on my wreaths, plenty of room for all my supplies.

I used some of the compartments to store some of my fabric by color, much easier to find now.
I also purchased six fabric drawers at target, which I used to store my stash of burlap flowers, holiday ribbon and even had room for my bow maker.

I am very happy with the way this project turned out and it sure helps me to have this larger craft space.
What do you think?

I hope you all have a wonderful day. Ours is going to be a little difficult.
Our son's leave is over and he is flying back to his duty station tonight. We just hate to see him go, specially since it will be the end of the year before we get to see him again. Yes, my heart is heavy today.

Thank you all for stopping by.
Hugs!
