MOST POPULAR POSTS OF 2012

Good Morning, Everyone!

This will probably be my last post for this year, so, today, I am just showing you a few
of the most viewed posts on my blog during 2012.

But before I start, I just want to say it has been a year full of great fun, meeting all of you, making new friends, joining parties, learning from all your creativity and reading every day all your sweet and wonderful comments.
This has been my first full year blogging and I have loved every minute of it!

Moving on, up to today, the most popular post on my blog, has been the tiered basket I added to my bathroom.
This post has had over five thousand views and it is still number one on the list today.
I didn't know you guys like tiered baskets so much! :)
I love them also!

Another popular post was the addition of the chandelier in our master bathroom.
You can see that post here

Updates to our Laundry room was highly viewed.
You can visit it here

Another two posts that were very popular in 2012 were the burlap and lace runner I made for the kitchen island and re-purposing my old drapes to make a coverlet for our bed.
You can revisit these posts here and here.

And, the last but not least, most viewed on the list were

We already have several projects in mind for 2013.
This coming year we want and need to concentrate on our outdoor spaces and backyard,
we need a new fence and want to build a shed for extra storage space.
Can't wait to see what 2013 has in store for us! :)
Happy New Year, everyone and see you all soon!

AS THE YEAR COMES TO AN END

Hello, everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
Ours was so nice, quiet and peaceful, just what we needed. :)

In just a few days, 2012 will come to an end and before that happens, I thought it would be fun to post just a few of the many projects we have done this year around our home.

Some are big, some are small, but we had fun with all of them, well, may be not too much fun with one or two
LOL, you know, the ones that gave us all kinds of problems.

Here is looking back at 2012.

We started the year turning our upstairs game room into a larger bedroom for our daughter.
We had to enclose the room, add double doors, and, when all was said and done, it turned out to be a two week project.
Boy, that was a lot of work!

And later, I painted, glazed and stenciled her dresser

Right after, we started the renovation of our spare bedroom to turn it into a craft room.
We ripped off the carpet, painted the room and installed hardwood floors

Little by little, I am turning it into my craft space.
I made a new balance for the window and changed the look of a $5.00 chandelier.

In our bedroom, I made a coverlet for our bed from an old pair of drapes and we added a new sitting room.

Through out the year, we have sprayed painted everything but the dog. :)
Here are a few of the projects.

We added a few embellishments to our mantle

I made a burlap and lace runner for our kitchen and we added a pot rack over our island and some new chairs to our breakfast table.

I also had a lot of fun participating on the copycat parties hosted by Debbie at Debbieddo's.
Here are a few samples.

I put together a couple of tablescapes.

We added molding to our front entrance and stained the door.

And I made many, many wreaths and pillows for my porch. :)

It has been such a fun year full of home projects, but the best part for me has been getting to know all of you, making new friends and learning so much from your creativity and beautiful blogs.
I sure do appreciate your friendship!

Thank you all for stopping by!
