A SMALL VALENTINE'S ACCENT BURLAP PILLOW

Good morning!
Today I want to share with you a quick post of a craft I made last week for my front porch Valentine's decor.
I have so much left over fabric, that I am trying to put it to good use. :)

This is a small and very simple pillow that you can add to a small hall table or maybe use it as part of a vignette.

Very simple to make.
I picked two alphabet stencils that I liked from my stash and I traced them on my burlap fabric using a red fabric marker.

When it was done, I sew all three sides ( you can also use hem tape) added a small form I had and closed it up using hem tape.

I had bought these little hearts at the Dollar Tree a couple of weeks ago, so I decided to add one to my pillow.
They have a little sticker on the back, so they are very easy to apply or move around and place where you like.

Or you can add a little ribbon to it.
Dollar Tree has the cutest Valentine's ribbons this year.

A very simple tiny pillow, but I think it can look cute paired with other Valentine's items.

Enjoy your day and stay warm, my friends.
It looks like we are about to get another round of "Winter"!

Talk to you soon!

OUR HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Hello, everyone!
I am sure you are all busy getting ready for the big day.
It is a little crazy around here also, but enjoying every minute of it. :)

Before this holiday season comes to an end, I am sharing with you a small tour of our home decorated for Christmas.

We start on the front porch.
I have used mostly burlap this year to make all my decorations.

Come on in!

This is the first thing you see when you enter our home.

To the left you will find our living room where we set up the Christmas tree.

And our entrance table also got dressed up with a little Christmas decor.

Moving on towards the kitchen and family room.
These are the areas where we spend most of our time.
I made pillows, wreaths, garlands, place mats, cone trees and a few more pillows. LOL

And in our family room, I decorated our mantle and just added a small vignette to our coffee table.

Thank you all for stopping by for a visit this Christmas!

From our family to yours, we wish you the happiest and Merriest Christmas ever. Enjoy your loved ones!
God Bless you all this Holiday Season and always.
Merry Christmas!

THIS YEAR, A VERY SIMPLE CHRISTMAS FRONT PORCH

Happy Friday, everyone!
Today, I am sharing my front porch with a little bit of Christmas decor.

Cleaning up all my Fall decor turned out to be a two hour job.
When I went to remove the hay and pumpkins the mess was incredible!
Of course it didn't help when it decided to get windy in the middle of the clean up. LOL

For that reason, I decided my Christmas porch was going to be very simple this year.

Let me show you around.

For the bench pillows, I used the same fabrics as the ones in my kitchen and family room.
And using a simple stencil, I added the word "joy" to the smallest pillow.

Next to the bench sits my little street lamp which I also decorated using the same fabrics.

On the door, I added the new wreath I made for this year and over it, a garland with poinsettias, ornaments
and two burlap bows. Very simple.

And that is all I am doing on the porch this year.
Although is very simple, I hope it feels welcoming to our friends and family.

Thank you all for stopping by and have a great weekend!
