Hello, everyone!
First, I want to apologize for being MIA.
As you all know, we have had our son home for the last two weeks, so we have been enjoying some great family time.
Everything comes to an end tomorrow, when he will be going back to Everett, WA, where he is stationed, but,
we can't complain, we had a great visit!
In the next few days, I will try to catch up by visiting all my favorite blogs and see what you guys have been up to.
Meanwhile, I want to share today our Holiday mantle.
This year it is very simple.
I used the items I made a few weeks back, like the vases with gold branches and small ornaments, all from Dollar Tree and the wooden NOEL letters my husband made me and I mod podged with some pretty Crhistmas paper.
The rest is just Christmas decor from previous years, the gold trees and reindeers I bought at Kirklands about three years ago. I also added some gold and red garland and new pillows I made for the hearth.
Ok, no more talking! :)
Here is our mantle for this Holiday season.
I will share the rest of our Christmas decor in the next few days. Nothing much, just little touches here and there.
I hope everyone has a great week!
Thank you always for taking the time to stop by
and see you all soon.
Your mantel looks so pretty, Maria Elena! There is a certain elegance to everything you do. Beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful, Maria Elena! I love the Noel and the trees. Glad to hear you had a good visit with your son. Mine came to visit for Thanksgiving and will be back for Christmas. Then we won't see him until June. Cramming it all in now!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Maria Elena! Your hubby was so sweet to make the letters for you! All of your decor is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteStunning, Maria! So many wonderful features ... the beaded garland ... the trees (fun that you added ornaments to your branches) ... and, of course, your NOEL letters! Love the ambiance the candles bring. Great idea adding the pillows to the hearth, too.

Its beautiful Maria Elena! Of course I like the Noel wooden sign and what also got my eye were the gold branches holding the red ornaments.
ReplyDeleteYour mantel is just lovely, Maria Elena. Those gold mesh trees on each end are so pretty and very artsy-looking. I adore those gold deer, too!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty Maria Elena! How nice that you got to spend time with your son..
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! I love how your mantel is decorated...Christine
ReplyDeleteMaria your mantle is beautiful! Thanx for sharing it at the mantle party!
ReplyDeleteYour mantel looks beautiful Maria Elena!! I'm so glad you had a great visit with your son!
ReplyDeleteVery, very, very pretty! I love the way you tied the "Joy" into the ribbons to make them look extra special. I also really like the way you strung the beaded garland. You have given me the idea to deep-six the mirror that sits atop our mantel and put in a massive clock instead. Our mirror doesn't really reflect anything that's very cool in it, so it seems to me that a clock would be perfect. Beautiful mantel! So glad to see that your son enjoyed his visit. We, of course, thank him for his service to our country. Merry Christmas to you and your family! I'm visiting from Kathe With An E's blog party.
ReplyDeleteYour mantel is gorgeous for Christmas. You do the best mantels!
