The Holidays are approaching so fast!
Didn't we just cooked "the turkey" yesterday? :)
Well, I stopped stressing about getting things ready and now, I am just having fun with it.
I have been adding little Christmas touches here and there around the house and, the small table in the hallway, right by our kitchen, just got a little happiness added to it.

A small bunch of poinsettias, a berry wreath on the mirror, not much, but I think it went well with the decor I already had on the table, like the red lamps and orbs.
I still have the stairwell to decorate, but, frankly, I don't think I am going to make it.
I did start my holiday decorating very late this year, but, in trade, I got to spent some really
good quality time with my son while he was here.
Next post, the kitchen!
See you all soon!

It looks lovely, Maria! I haven't done my staircase yet either. It takes a lot of time.
ReplyDeleteYour house looks gorgeous all decked out! I love the wreath in the mirror and the table beneath it with the red orbs and the picture frames. Thank you for dropping by to my house. Big hugs,
ReplyDeleteFABBY
Your little table looks so pretty, Maria Elena. And you desert bar in your previous post looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteSorry I haven't visited lately. Last week was very stressful, moving my mom from her apartment to the hospital and then to the nursing home.
What you have done is just gorgeous. If you don't get your stairwell done, so what? It is still beautiful. Spending time with family is the most important choice you can make- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI love the red and black together, very striking! The berry wreath you have on the mirror is so full looking, I've never seen one like that usually they are skimpy looking. Thanks for stopping by too!
ReplyDeleteMaria, another gorgeous vignette! Your home is just beautiful! We didn't do our staircase either; and I don't miss it at all...lol! We cut back a lot this year; and I am fine with that! I seem to be hearing a lot of people saying the same thing.
ReplyDeleteHi Maria! Oh, how beautiful! You've made your home so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
It looks very pretty. I like your wreath very much. I have scaled back on the decorating this year because we had other things going on, but in some ways, I quite like the change.
ReplyDeleteAll your touches of Christmas Maria Elena are just beautiful! Isn't preparing our home for Christmas a lot of work? Your stair case is beautiful without decorating it and you had a very good reason why you didn't....spending quality time with your son is more important! Hope you have a wonderful day, Gail
ReplyDeleteAll the decor looks great. I love the poinsettias, too. I wish I were as far along as you are...yours looks very nice and welcoming, too. Merry Christmas, Helen
