Chandelier makeover

Well, here I go, another spray paint project! LOL
I seem to be doing a lot of that lately, actually it has been months since
I picked up a brush!

This is the newly updated chandelier, in my soon to be, craft room.
I used  Rust-Oleum Satin Heirloom White.

Remember the chandelier I bought at the
Habitat center for $5.00?

I finally had the time this last weekend to finish it.
I found the red lampshades at Tuesday Morning for
just $2.99 each.

I also added a small red tassel

I think it goes well with the theme in that room and
with the small window balance I made a few weeks ago

Before and after

What do you guys think?
Is it a keeper?

Total cost for this project was $20.00 plus change.
I am still working on decorating the top shelves my husband built
for me and also on getting cabinets and counter tops.
I hope everybody is having a great week!
I appreciate you taking the time to visit.

  5. That looks great Maria Elena! I think just about every light in my house has been replaced with a Habitat for Humanity light fixture. It's amazing what a can of spray paint and some creativity will do for little money! Enjoy your day, Gail

P.S. Your husband did an AWESOME job on the pot rack...LOVE it!

  12. Oh my gosh, I bought almost the same light at a Church yard sale a few weeks back for only $5.00. I sprayed mine black, and left the shades off. I am loving it, as well as yours. Great job!

  22. The paint idea is so refreshing for me. :] Most of the time, what we see are metal-colored fixtures. So, this is such an unspoiled design. I think it’s really made for a craft room. Even from above, it can liven up the atmosphere, for sure!
