Can you guys believe is already almost the end of January?
With Valentine's Day quickly approaching, I decided to do a little
Valentine's tablescape.
The good new is that I used everything I already had at home.
That storage closet can come in handy sometimes! LOL
Crystal is from Germany and the dishes are the "remains" of an old set I used
to have and used for everyday meals.
The red chargers are from Kirklands.
The red chargers are from Kirklands.
The lace tablecloth was a gift from a friend many years ago.
The flowers, candles and little paper cutouts also
came out of my "treasure closet".
Small ceramic heart boxes I bought from the Dollar store last year
and the bottle of champagne has been sitting in my cupboard for a year now. LOL
We don't drink much, actually, none at all.
All I added this year was the little candy jar with the word "love" on it.
I found it at the Dollar store and I thought it was just too cute.
I hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing weekend!!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Maria,
ReplyDeleteDefinitely don't need many words for those beautiful pictures. I am in love with the red chargers, it all looks so pretty!
Tami

DeleteOh what a lovely tablescape. Beautiful pictures also. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteMarty, thank you for visiting! I am glad you liked the pictures.
DeleteI am still learning how to use my camera.
Hi Maria Elena! I find this table so appealing because the lace and cut crystal make a very nice balance with the red. There are several of us who chose the heart boxes from Dollar Tree, and it's fun to see them on different tables! I will have to put red chargers on my wish list--they are beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing this VERY pretty table!
ReplyDeleteElaine, thank you! Yes, I saw yours and you are right, it is nice to see how different people use them. The charges came from Kirklands. I love them because I also get to use them for Christmas and later for the 4th of July. Thank you for coming by!
DeleteMaria, your photos are gorgeous and your tablescape is very romantic!!!! And yes, I love everything. Thanks for posting this in time to get my ideas rolling. LOL! Helen
ReplyDeleteHelen, I am so glad you like it! It took me a while to get the pictures to look right or at least presentable! LOL Thank you for coming to visit!

Hello, Maria Elena! This is my first visit to your blog. I'm visiting from Tablescape Thursday over at BNOTP. Where on earth did you find the Longchamps crystal with the gold rim?????? Those are Longchamps, aren't they? I have tons of it, but none with a gold rim! That's really pretty!!! I think it would be too late to buy any now, though. I think I heard they have stopped producing it or Cristal d'Arques went bankrupt or something like that. Can't remember. Anyway....love 'em! So you're from Madrid? Wonderful! My Medical Spanish instructor in college was from Madrid, and I so enjoyed getting to know her. (I took Medical Spanish to be able to help my husband out because he had a lot of Spanish-speaking patients at that time. I spoke Spanish, but not any that had to do with the medical field! Heck...I didn't know it in English, let alone Spanish!!! :-) That was a few years ago (15, maybe?) so I don't remember all that much. I still have the books, though, so maybe I should brush up! :-) So nice to "meet" you! Have a wonderful weekend!

ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty Valentine Table! I love the layering you did. The heart boxes are precious. I also like the red chargers. My sister and I have done some Valentine Tables, and it made me realize how much I wish I had red chargers. They really set off a Valentine setting so nicely. I am visiting from the newbie party.
