Remodeling the laundry room was something we had on our minds since we moved into our home, but, for one reason or another, we kept putting it on the back burner.

Until last New Years Day when our old washer decided to give up on us.
After we bought the new washer and dryer set, we got motivated to just
finish the whole laundry room.
So glad we did!

We decided to purchase new cabinets for extra storage, put in new counters
and add a utility sink.

I love all the storage space I have now and the fact that the cabinets are deep enough to hide the laundry basket. Here are some pictures.

First, we installed the cabinets.

After, counter, sink and faucet went in.

Added a new light fixture

Even had enough room to add up a small bar to hang clothes after ironing

And here is the finished product.

Thank you for visiting!

  1. Maria this room is beautiful too! You have really created a gorgeous home. Every room has inspired me. I can't wait until we move in the spring and I can decorate a new home all over again. I'm going to "borrow" so many of your wonderful ideas. *Smiles*

PS I left another comment on your porch post. Thanks for coming by and leaving me a nice comment today. I appeciate it.

    Have a wonderfully blessed day.

  2. What a beautiful laundry room you've created. I'm just green with envy.....mine is a bit of a mess as you can probably figure with boys running all over the place.

  3. Your laundry room turned out great - well worth the wait. The granite is truly beautiful.

  4. That looks fantastic, Maria! What a difference the cabinetry, counter top and shelving make on the wall across from the W&D! I'm in the midst of fixing up the laundry room in our new place. Next on the list is some shelving to replace the one wire shelf that is presently there.

  5. You did a great job. It looks fabulous! I know I sure wouldn't mind doing laundry in there.
