I have to tell you that our family room has been decorated for Spring for over six weeks now, but I haven't really
had any time to edit the pictures and write a post. :)

I am to the point of wanting to change things up again and get it ready for the Summer months
(yes, I know it is an illness LOL) so before I do that, here is a little tour of our Spring family room.

First came the new drapes to go with the kitchen area.
Since it is all open space, I always like my decor to blend together.

I made a couple of pillow covers in softer Spring colors.

The mantle is very simple this year.

Our coffee table vignette stayed about the same

And the single chair and round table on the right side of the room also got a few Spring changes.

An that is it!  A simple space where our family spends many hours every day.

I really want to add some vibrant colors to this room for the Summer months.
More to come on that. :)

Thank you all for your visit!
See you soon.

  1. So fresh and clean! Love it all, especially those pretty pillows!

  2. What a welcoming space for your family to gather.

  3. Looks great! Can't wait to see what you do for summer décor - I have the same "illness" and I know what's it's like! :)

  4. Oh i just love the serenity and beauty of that space. But you know me well enough to know I don't play with vibrant colors, haha.

Well done, what a gorgeous space!

  5. Oh Maria, your family room is beautiful. I love your mantel and your cushions. Thanks for sharing. :) Julie

  6. It is all so pretty, Maria!

  7. Looks great! I like the soft pallete of the room- it's light, fresh and feels cool. Once it gets really hot it will feel refreshing to be in this room! I like the mantel- it's always fun to play with that area!

  8. Beautiful room and wow mantle. The room looks fresh, clean and invitingly calm. Perfect wall color, too.

  9. Very pretty! I love the soft colors of the pillows. Your living room is so cozy. Very spring like. Have a great Mothers Day!
