Hello, there!
I know by now you all have "turkey" on your minds, LOL but if I know my fellow bloggers, I know you are planning on your Christmas decor and possibly already have your homes half way decorated.
Well, with only 33 days left till Christmas, there is no time to be waiting around, Right? :)
This year I am going with a whole new look on my Holiday decor, I hope I get it to look right.
For many, many years I kept my Christmas tree decorated the same way.
At
that time, I had my own business and I worked outside my home 12 hours a
day, so decorating the house for the holidays was not easy.
Of course, I was a little tired of it.
Last year was the first time I decided to give our old tree a different look.
I used the same ornaments I already had, added some white poinsettias and a little musical ribbon and even I was amazed at what a big difference it made.
It was not expensive to do. I bought the flowers and ribbon at Michaels at 50% off and a few picks from Dollar Tree.
Very simple and inexpensive change.
Hope this post gives you a little inspiration to try something new.
I am almost finished with all my crafts and I will start decorating my home for the Holidays this coming week.
You know I am excited! :)
Thank you all for stopping by!
They are both beautiful trees. I am thinking of changing things up a little this year too.
ReplyDeleteSo you know you're going to have to make a change every year now, right? I love the transformation. I am traditionally with the red and greens but the soft white and golds are marvelous and still festive. I love it, thanks for the inspiration, as always :)
ReplyDeleteBoth looks are very pretty, Maria! I change out whatever I decide to use as garland. One year it was tulle, another year it was wire ribbon. Not sure which way I'm going this year.
ReplyDeleteThey both are pretty trees. I guess I never do my tree the same from year to year. I like to change it a bit, although I do reuse my ornaments. I'm pondering ideas but haven't started anything yet.
ReplyDeleteI love it, just a few inexpensive things changed it into a sparkling Christmas tree.
ReplyDeleteStunning!!!!

Just beautiful, Maria! The red was so pretty to but the update has a certain elegance to it! Just lovely...you are making me want to get my decorations out...BUT...I will wait 'til after Thanksgiving :)
ReplyDeleteSimply stunning, both the red and the white. Love this time of year!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I traditionally went with red, but last year I "dared to be different", and went with whites, creams, and wanted all silver, but some gold got mixed up in it, lol! I love the new look on mine, and love the new look on yours as well!
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful. I am waiting until after Thanksgiving because I have a house full for the "feast". lol I am changing things up a bit this year, too! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteBeautiful transformation, Maria Elena!
ReplyDeleteGreat redo, Maria, and your tree is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Very Very Pretty!
ReplyDeleteHola Maria, los dos estilosson hermosos pero mi favorito es el blanco. Saludos desde Mexico.
ReplyDeleteYour newly re-decorated tree looks gorgeous! I still like the red and gold, too! I may be ready to make a transition like that in another year or so, but for now I'm loving the addition of as much color as possible in our Christmas decor!
