MAKING BOWS THE EASY WAY

Hello, everyone!

I have received several emails from my readers asking me to give a tutorial on the blog on how do I make the bows
I use for my wreaths.

Well, today I am telling you my big secret! LOL
I am in no means an expert on making bows and that is why, sometime last year, my kids went shopping and came back home with one of this.

First of all, I had no idea this existed, but I have to tell you I am very glad they bought it for me.
This is the best and easiest way to make a great bow in just a few minutes.

I don't know about you, but every time I tried to make a bow, I always wished for a third hand that would hold it down for me, well, think of this like that third hand that keeps the bow in place while you are making it.

It also includes the bow wire that is very strong and holds your ribbon very firmly.
This wire can be also bought separately in most craft stores and even Walmart.

I was worried it wasn't going to work well with burlap, since the fabric is thicker, but I was wrong, it works great with burlap ribbon or strips of burlap fabric.

Or you can use it to make regular silk ribbon bows in any shape or size you would like.
Last year I also used it to make the bows for all the holiday gifts.

So there you have it!
My big bow making secret. LOL I hope you are not too disappointed! :)

Tuesdays at Our Home link party is still live and going strong.

  4. I should get one of those! I have struggled to make nice bows for wreaths. I've even gone on the you tube and watched demos of how to do them, but I struggled with it even then!
