Good morning!
Hard to believe is already Thursday!
It sure has been a busy week around here.
And it is finally feeling like Fall in South Texas.
We have gone from being in the 90's to 50 overnight and lots, lots of rain. No complaints here! :)
The only problem with all this rain is that our back porch remodel has come to a halt.
We have three fourths of the tile down, but the rest will have to wait until the rain stops.
We hope to finish it this weekend and be able to clean everything, finish painting the railings and apply the grout.
Can't wait to have this project finished!
And move on to decorating the space. I have my eye on something like this. What do you think?
Meanwhile, I bought new painters drop cloth and I am making new outdoor curtains for the porch.
After we painted everything, the old curtains looked, well, they looked old. LOL
Plus, I think I will make them a little bit different this time around.
I have also been spending sometime in my craft room, let me tell you, it is the best place to be on a rainy day :)
I have been making some Fall pillows, Christmas burlap runners and placemats for my Etsy shop.
And also started working on my own Christmas decor.
So far I have made a different burlap holiday runner for my kitchen island, four placemats and a few pillows and I am now in the process of making red burlap poinsettias.
And this has been my week.
As you can see, I have my hands full with all these projects, but having fun preparing for the upcoming Holiday season.
All our prayers are being answered and it looks like it is going to be a special one for us.
I will be back tomorrow with the most viewed links of this week's party.
Thank you all who stopped by and linked your gorgeous projects. I had lots of fun visiting everyone!
See you soon!

ReplyDeleteHope you can get back to your outdoor project soon, Maria Elena. It's so difficult having projects hanging over your head.

You definitely have your hands full but i know everything will turn out just perfect the way you want it. I can't wait to see the new outdoor curtains. I am also planning to put on new outdoor curtains, thinking of a DIY project or probably just buy them, i guess it's easier that way. Anyway, your pillow are lovely and i bet the new curtains will also look as lovely as those pillows.
