This project has been finished for a few days now, but I finally get around to sharing it with you all.
For the last couple of days I have had the worst migraine headache, you see,
I did a little painting in the garage with the door close and I think the fumes got to me.
Who says decorating can't be dangerous? LOL Lesson learned!
It took me a while to find the items I had envisioned for these shelves.
When I found this pretty European-made glass charger with a hand-painted, metallic finish on
the reverse
at Pier 1,
it all kind of happened after that.
It went very nicely with the blue vase set I had from Kirklands.
And I love the way these colors looked with some silver accents.
I also added this beautiful 55 year old wedding picture of my parents-in-law.
I bought the frame at Michael's this past weekend.
Regular price was $25.00, but with all the President's Day sales and a coupon,
I got it for $8.00. Isn't it pretty?
And with some pretty ceramic birds I already had and a couple of family pictures, the shelves are finished.
Thank you all for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your week.
See you soon!
I love it Maria, it turned out beautiful!
