TUESDAYS AT OUR HOME #101 & FEATURES

Welcome, everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Ours went by too fast. :) We spent the weekend getting some things ready for the arrival of our son and family.

They will be here in about ten days. Time is flying! :)

We also framed a bathroom mirror. More to come on that.

And I worked on adding some more items to my Etsy shop.
 Very productive weekend.

A SMALL BEDROOM UPDATE

Do you ever make changes in your home without any prior planning? That is what happened to me last week.

When I thought the master bedroom was the way I liked it, I came across this beautiful chandelier at a super great price and I just knew it belonged in our bedroom sitting room area.

TUESDAYS AT OUR HOME #100 & FEATURES

Welcome to Tuesdays at Our Home!

I hope you are enjoying your long President's Day weekend.

We have been busy with a couple of small home projects and giving the yard the first cleaning of the year.

With temperatures in the mid 70's, everything is already growing like it was Spring.
Look at my knockout roses, they haven't stopped flowering all winter.

Last week we had another great party.

You are all so talented that is getting very hard to narrow it down to a few features. :)

Thank you all so much for joining my little party each week!

Christine at Little Brags shared with us the cutest post, a special home tour.
What a pretty home and cute fellow! :)

Rebecca at Living Better Together made some beautiful cupcakes.
They sound and look so delicious!

Liz at Infuse With Liz shared how she beautifully decorated the wall in her breakfast area.
Love all her blue touches!

Heidi at Happiness is Homemade shared a wonderful and very yummy recipe for Ultimate Queso Dip.

Kinberly at Lou Lou Girls made a beautiful monogram letter.
Love this project!

Keitha at The Bajan Texan shared some amazing ideas on how to prepare for overnight guests.

A SPECIAL BOX

Happy Friday!

We are sure looking forward to the long President's Day weekend.

And the fact that tomorrow is Valentines just makes it better. :)

This year I have not decorated for Valentine's Day.

I have so much going on that I just couldn't seem to find any time, so I guess I will jump

from Winter to Spring decor as the time comes.

But I couldn't let this special day past by without sharing a little "love". :)

A NEW WOOD SIGN

I just love browsing through all your blogs.
The ideas and inspiration you can find in "blogland" is amazing. Such talented people!

That was the case the other day when visiting one of my favorite people, dear Lisa, who blogs at Texas Decor.
Somehow I had missed a post she published back in November (shame on me) and I just loved this project,
a simple but very pretty farmhouse sign.
So, with her permission, I created a "copycat". :)

RELOCATING FURNITURE

I hope your week is going well.

I have been busy organizing and sprucing up our home.

Storage and closet space has always been an issue for us.

Some small changes had to be made to our bedrooms lately to accommodate everyone and that caused
the very well known "domino effect".

It all started in our daughter's bedroom.

LAUNDRY ROOM SHELVES

I did this update several weeks back and just the other day I realized I had not share it on the blog.

Sooo, here it goes :)

No big project, just a little bit of a lighter paint on my wall shelves in the laundry room and a couple of decor items.

WORKSHOP UPDATE

Hello, everyone!

Today I am sharing with you what I think has been our longest project ever. :)

For a while now, my husband has been building a workshop in our garage. This space is quite large and has given him enough room to create a nice work space.
