Hello, friends!
My computer is acting up this morning, so today I am just sharing a quick post
of a little lamp I updated this past week.
of a little lamp I updated this past week.
My daughter and I went to Goodwill and found this lamp with shade for $4.00.
The lamp was not in very good condition, but the shade was like new, so it came home with us.
Here is how I used it.
First, I took all the wiring out, cleaned it really well and sprayed painted it in a pretty red color.
While the paint was drying, I made a small
red burlap flower and hot glued it to the shade.
When the paint was dry, I attached a solar light to the base of the lamp,
which, by the way, fit perfectly.
which, by the way, fit perfectly.
And now, when the sun goes down every evening,
we have instant lighting on our front porch.
we have instant lighting on our front porch.
Isn't it cute for $4.00? :)
Hope I can figure out today what is slowing down my computer because I have
a couple more post to share with you this week.
