It has been shocking to see how quick Spring is arriving this year.
Although we have been having some rain, our temperatures have
stayed in the 80's for days now.
Everything is starting to bloom so early this year.
Look at our crape myrtles! Normally we don't see any leaves on
them until April and no flowers until May.
them until April and no flowers until May.
Look at all the brand new shiny leaves
The funny thing is that just two weeks ago, they looked like this!
Even the little one on the flower bed is looking like if we were in the middle of May.
And the flowers I planted two weeks ago are getting huge!
I think is safe to say, Spring has arrived!
I hope you guys are having a great Monday!
Wow! You really DO have blooms...and your pictures are gorgeous! No real green here yet. We usually don't get anything growing until late April/mid May but we have been having really warm weather this Spring, too. Weird! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteIt do believe Spring has arrived for you! We are having beautiful weather here as well, but nothing is blooming yet. Enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteWow! It IS early for crape myrtles!! Mine are still bare; but everything else is popping up!! I'm excited! Can't wait until the jasmine starts blooming near the patio! It smells so good! I was out back yesterday and my knockout roses have buds! I guess that's one of the benefits of having a mild winter.
ReplyDeleteSpring has sprung for you and your flowers are beautiful. Nothing blooming here yet but we have been having temp in the 70s and 80s. Had a little rain today so that should speed things up.
