DON'T THROW AWAY YOUR OLD LIGHT BULBS!

How is that for a post tittle? :)
Just a quick post today to share with you a small craft project I did last week.

Most of us have light bulbs around the house and you can use them to make some pears to use for your Fall decor.
Here is a small tutorial. You will need:

Any size light bulbs, jute twine, some little twigs from your yard and your hot glue gun.

Now that you have all your supplies ready, make a little circle using the twine and a bit of glue.

And glue it to the center of your light bulb.
That will be your starting point.

After that, just continue gluing your twine all around the light bulb.
Don't worry much about the extra glue, you will be able to pick it right off after you are done.

When you get to the metal part of the light bulb, glue the little twig, let it dry for a couple of minutes
and then continue wrapping it with the twine until is all covered.

 And you are done!

I wanted to make some in a different color, but had no chance to make it to the store,
so I just used yarn I had at home.
The color is "carrot" and you can find it at Walmart.
You will use the yarn the same way as the twine.

I still have a few more to make.
It is an easy craft, but time consuming.
Hope you get a little inspiration from this post and decide to make your own Fall pears.

Thank you all for stopping by!
