WORKING ON MY DAUGHTER'S BATHROOM

We have been working on changing the look of my daughter's bathroom.
We are not finished yet. I am sure we will find a few little things to add, but for now,
I am sharing with you the changes we already made.
It is a small bathroom, so taking pictures was kind of hard.

She wanted the shower curtain to be longer than the regular ones you can find in the stores.
First thing we did was find a fabric she liked.
She just fell in love with this one from Hancock Fabrics.

I had to admit it was beautiful, but a little pricey, so we waited for a sale.
Finally, she found it at 50% off.
She wanted grommets, so mama sew her new curtain and installed black grommets on it. :)

Because the bathroom is not large, storage has always been a challenge for her,
specially because I think by now, she owns stock on Bath & Body Works. LOL
She purchased a new wall cabinet at Target to help her with this "issue".

She has decorated it with a little " La Toilette" sign and a small metal container from Hobby Lobby.

We pulled the colors from the fabric and she bought new towels in the same colors.

On the other side of the bathroom, you will find a small flower pot by the sink and the wall art we made in the same color scheme.

And that's it! We really feel like something is missing, but don't know what.
We will take any advice you all can give us. :)

Here is the before and after.
She is very happy with her choices.

Thank you all for stopping by! I really appreciate your visits.
See you soon!

  6. Maria, I'm loving that fabric y'all used for the shower curtain. Everything looks done! Do y'all feel that something is not exactly where you want it or think you might want it somewhere else? I've been searching for such just in case that's what y'all are thinking about. If so, y'all might try placing the blue Paris bucket on the tank top, for easier reach and to pull the blue from the shower curtain. There is nothing that needs to be none really. Y'all are a great team.

  13. Oh, Fantastic! Love that shower curtain - so fun and colorful! Job well done! You know what else would be pretty? Some blingy drawer pulls/knobs from Hobby Lobby - have you seen those? I bought some recently with rhinestones to dress up a cabinet. Cheers, Catherine
