CHANGES TO THE SMALL HALL TABLE

Hello everyone.
It has been a month since we put away our holiday decor and little by little the house is getting back to normal.
I have made some changes here and there, but I have been using items to redecorate that I already had.

After taking a good look at our storage closet, I decided that I don't need to buy anything new and I also need to donate many of the items that I know I won't be using anymore. And that is my " New Year's project". :)

But for now, this is how I decorated our hall table. It may look a little like Spring to you, but with temperatures reaching the mid 70's almost every day, it doesn't feel to us like it is winter time.

This hall table sits in the small area right by the entrance to our kitchen and family room and right on front of our newly built bench.

You will recognize all the items I used from previous vignettes, including my favorite picture. :)

The large glass jar came from Ross, the birds from Kirklands, the two white ceramic pots are from Dollar Tree, boxwood and the small black metal tea light holder from Hobby Lobby.

I always have a wreath on the mirror and I after the red berry wreath came down, I decided to make a new one out of burlap in neutral colors.

And I also kept the old basket and "HOME" pillow underneath.

I will probably keep it decorated like it is now for a while, the only thing I want to update are the two lamps.
I don't know if I will be able to be back on the blog this week so I wish you all a wonderful weekend and I will see you Monday afternoon for another Tuesdays at Our Home link party.

Until then!

  1. It looks very nice, Maria Elena. Even small changes can make a big impact. Love the 'jug'! I wish I had a little bit of that warm weather up here. We were below zero when I got up this morning--not sure what it was with wind chill factored in. Hope you have a great upcoming weekend. xo Diana

  2. ME - your foyer table is gorgeous. Don't update the lamps - they look perfect there - wouldn't change them.

    Hugs! ♥

  3. I sure wish we were in the 70's I would decorate for Spring too! I love what you have done here. I also made myself a rule for the new year, .....I am going through all my decor that is in storage and anything I haven't used since we moved here is going. I have taken 2 carlaods to Goodwill so far. It is a slow process but I will get through everything. Your new bench looks so pretty too, what I can see. Have a great weekend!!
