CHRISTMAS AT OUR HOME

Any other time I would of shared our Christmas decorations in several different posts not to overwhelm you with pictures, but this year I just don't have the time to do that since I will be traveling to Spain in a couple of days and won't be back home until the night before Christmas.

Our Holiday decor this year is very, very simple and almost the same as last year. Between planning and cooking for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping and getting ready for this trip, I feel like it is almost a miracle I was able to get the house semi-decorated for Christmas.

So here it goes, our simply decorated 2015 Christmas home.

FRONT PORCH

ENTRYWAY

KITCHEN & BREAKFAST ROOM

FAMILY ROOM

And that is all the holiday decorating I will be doing this year and if it wasn't for my husband and kids helping me, I don't know how I would of ever got our home ready for the holidays.

I won't be back on the blog until the week after Christmas, so I want to take a moment to thanks you all for the friendship and support you show me all year long and wish you all a very, very Merry Christmas.

xoxo

  1. hello maria elena...your shared creative talents are such an inspiration...my eyes were especially drawn to the pictures of the family room with the subtle greens in your decorations as contrasted with the reds throughout the other pictured rooms...quite lovely...you juxtapose form, texture and color to great advantage...we wish you and yours a joyous holiday season...and wishing you a safe and happy reunion with your family...take care...sally

  6. Queridísima amiga, tu casa esta hermosisisisima!

Every room is perfect, so Christmassy and festive. Even though you will not be home. We're also going to our DD Sofia's house for Christmas, so I just did also a simple holiday décor... NO tree, it takes too much time for me.
Have a wonderful trip to your home land and enjoy every minute with your family, whom I'm sure are eager to spend it with you too.
Thank you for your sweet and kind comments for baby Maxima. Maxima will be going to live in Madrid in February.
    Blessings,

  10. Everything is just decorated so perfectly Maria Elena!!! I love the poinsettia theme going around and your stair case like before, is just gorgeous! White was an unexpected mesh for that area! I hope you can join the Linky party I will be co-hosting for the first time on the 16th for xmas home tours! Your home would be a wonderful addition and share for all to see!

  15. Your home looks lovely as always. It's so fun to see so many pics of that darling little "cherub" grandson popping up on trees and tabletops....our first came in a set of "twins," so our home was flooded with photos! I hope you have a safe and wonderful visit with your family in Spain. We will be anxious to hear all about it the new year!

    Warm hugs,
    Carol
