Hello, everyone!
I hope your week is going well.
It has been about four weeks since I did a blog post.
Life has been extremely busy, but now, with Summer almost over, everything is going back to regular schedules.
I have done several things around the house during the time I have been MIA and I will share them with you in the coming weeks. I have also been getting ready for the new season coming up very soon and today I am sharing a small Fall project.
I am not a person to throw away decor items when I make changes around the house.
I have a large storage closet full of "treasures" and that is where this frame came from.
It used to be part of my guest bathroom decor before I changed it last year.
This is what I did. First, I took it all apart.
Yes, I know, I am a little nuts. :)
I, then, covered the backing of the picture with burlap fabric.
And using the Silhouette Cameo, I spent a couple of hours creating vinyl Autumn words in different style fonts.
It was an easy project, but one that requires a lot of patience. :) Little by little, it started to come together.
When I had it the way I wanted, I just put it back inside the frame. This is the finished product.
Since I used everything I had at home, it didn't cost me anything to make it.
What do you think? Not bad for free, right?
Enjoy the rest of your week!
