FRONT PORCH DECOR FOR DIFFERENT SEASONS

Here is a little preview of the decor on our front porch.
I try to change it with the seasons. I never did that before, but I have been trying to keep up with it since we moved into our new home.

When you get to know me, you will soon realize that I love pillows! LOL
I include them on all my decor, indoors and outdoors.
I got tired of buying them, so I started making them.
I have a nice collection now! LOL

I also started making some wreaths. I love making my own!
Here is the front porch last spring decorated in purple and yellow.

Red, white and blue for summer time.

And, finally, I just added a little Fall decor a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Thank you, Melissa!
I enjoy decorating so much and now that I am not working, I really have more time to do it.
I really want to share my blog with more people, but I don't know where to start. LOL
How did you do it? I will take all the advice I can get. Thank you so much for your kind words.

  3. Maria Elena your home is gorgeous! You MUST meet more bloggers so they can also see your beautiful inspiration. If you join blogging parties this helps to spread the word about your own. Try contacting Debbie at "Debbiedoos". She has a "new blogger" party each week. Also Susan at "Between Naps On The Porch" has two parties each week. Sign up and then comment, comment, comment. You will meet so many new blog frinds this way. I will follow your blog and add you to my blogroll. I will also make you my "Blog of the Week" at the top of my blog. Hopefully this helps for others to find you. Seriously your home and decor' are AMAZING! You can find the other two ladies on my blogroll. You will love them both!

    Warmly, ~Melissa :)

PS Remove the comment verification word sramble thing so it is easier for others to leave you comments. It helps! Just uncheck it on your dashboard layout.

  4. Melissa, I can not thank you enough for all the help you are giving me! I am so touched!
I can't wait to start meeting everybody!
I still have so much to learn about blogging and it is going to take me a little while, but I am loving every minute of it!
I am going to check out your blogroll so I can start getting familiar with everybody's blogs and I am going to figure out how to sign up for the "new blogger" party. LOL
Thank you so much for all your wonderful comments about my home and for all the help you are giving me.

  6. Hi Maria!
I'm glad to see you are getting to know more boggers. Another tip that helps is too comment back to others on the current posting that they have shown. Not everyone comes back to a blog and reads the comments again so they may not ever know you answered them. I've been checking out your gorgeous home so I knew you had. Try following along on several blogs that interest you. Bloggers that follow you is a great place to start. Also my blogroll is filled with very kind bloggers and most of them are decorating style blogs. You will love them all!

Linking up to parties is definitely the way to get your blog seen! Between Naps On The Porch and Debbiedoos are two parties you should link up with today. They both fit well with your current post and the fact that you are new. Just click on your blog post and then hit copy over the link then paste the link and follow the rest of the instructions on the bloggers party. It's easy!

Good luck to you sweet friend.
    ~Melissa :)
