SPRING COLORS IN THE FAMILY ROOM

Hello everyone. I hope you are having a great week.
It has been a bit busy for me, but finally getting ahead decorating our home for Spring.

I always work first on our living areas, so the family room and kitchen were the first rooms I changed.

The changes I have made have been small. I did start with the pillows, kept the blue ones and made covers with a pretty spring green fabric for the orange pillows I already had on the sofa.

On the coffee table I put together a small spring vignette using a new runner and some old items I already had.

I didn't make big changes on the mantle. I just added a green pillow, two old candle holders and an old frame to which I added a free print I found online right here.
I did print it on a shade of green card stock that goes well with the rest of the mantle decor.

And that is it for our Spring family room, simple but homey which is what I always like to achieve when I make changes in our home.

Thank you all for stopping by and visit.
Enjoy the rest of your day!

  1. Everything looks so fresh and springy! I never think to change my pillows for a color change but it's a great way to change the feeling of a room. I like the print you framed on the mantel. I'm having a block right now as to how to do my mantel. I have a couple of ideas but seem to be dragging my feet about it so for now it's real plain.

I adore the blending of painted and metallic surfaces on the mantel!
    Cute Nest print!
The vignette on the coffee table complements the theme of your decor, quite nicely.
Thank you for sharing your change in pillows!

  5. What an inviting and spring-y looking room! The pop of spring green colour makes everything look so fresh. Thank you for the inspiration as I have that teal colour going on in our TV room but have never thought to add green to it for a new look. So glad you shared...

  7. Maria Elena,
Fresh, bright living and dining area! The arched openings between the two spaces are beautiful. What a good idea to print on colored paper to give a print some color. Your combination of teal blue and spring green is refreshing.
