Before I go any further, I have to tell you making these pillows was not my idea.
I got all the inspiration to make them from Debbie at
Go check out her beautiful blog, she is so creative at everything she does.
Browsing through her blog a couple of weeks ago, I came across these wonderful no sew stenciled pillows that she made, and I just fell in love with this project. I knew I had to give it a try!
These pillows are made with canvas painter's drop cloth. Have I told you I love this material? I have used it in so many different projects around my home!
Believe or not, I had just been thinking a few days before about making some pillows for my kitchen chairs, but just could not come up with a good idea.
I am so glad she posted this project!
My husband came home from work today and he said they looked store bought! LOL
Debbie, thank you so much for the inspiration post and for sharing this awesome project!

Debbie told me that these pillows were featured in the Country Woman magazine, but, for the life of me, I can not find the article! I still have so much to learn about blogging!
This was my inspiration photo from Debbie.

I made four pillows, two green and two orange.
Mine are not exactly the same as Debbie's, or as nice, but pretty close. Still learning!

The stenciled letters is what sold me on trying my hand at doing this project.
I found the stencil at Hobby Lobby.
Isn't it clever?

Put some little bows made out of twine on the comer of the pillows

Two pillows done, two more to go.

Finished product. This is what they look like on my kitchen table.
Isn't this a cute idea?

Thank you all for visiting and also for your beautiful blogs.
I am learning so much from all of you!
  Big hug!

  18. Hi Maria Elena Sweetie...I am so happy to have found your blog. What a beautiful share today. Isn't Debbie just the best when it comes to sharing her crafts and knowledge?

I love, LOVE your pillows. How festive and cute they are. I am going to have to try my luck at this stenciling as well. I have something in mind for Christmas and I think you just helped me dear friend.

How cute your stencil is, and I love the addition of the little bows at each corner. I am thinking maybe a grommet would do better with a bow for me, I have little grands that pull at everything. I am so excited to give this craft a try. Thank you for sharing and for Debbie as well. You are both lovely.

I am so happy to have found you, and I can't wait to see what exciting new things you share next. I am your newest follower Country Wings in Phoenix. Country hugs sweetie, Sherry

  22. Maria, you and Debbie can do anything! Those look great as did hers. Maybe I need a video or maybe I can read the instructions! Ha! I like the bow as I always like the unexpected. See my post today, whenever you get a moment. Thanks for sharing. Helen

  23. Joy, thank you so much. I am glad you liked the stairwell. That was not hard to do, but it took as almost a whole week.
Thank you for coming to visit!

  24. Helen, I am glad you liked the pillows.
They were so easy to make! I used the left over material from the famous porch curtains. I still have so much of it! Enough to probably make ten more pillows! I just went to see your post. I love that horse!!!! Oh, Helen, it is beautiful in your home!!!
