TUESDAYS AT OUR HOME #53 & FEATURES

WELCOME, WELCOME!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend.
We took it easy most of the weekend. we really needed a break.
Apart from grocery shopping and a trip to check out a new Garden Ridge that just opened very close to our house,
we stayed home the rest of the weekend, cooked, ate, read, watched TV  and just relaxed for a change. :)

Anyway, before we start the party, I would like to highlight last week most viewed links
from Tuesdays at Our Home #52.

Stacey from Poofing the Pillows put together a beautiful  Spring mantle.
Love her Farmers Market print. Gorgeous!

Audrey from Timeless Treasures made a gorgeous cloche light using a wire basket.
How pretty and original!

Shabby Gals made some beautiful leggings for her little girl using an old crocheted cardigan.
It just doesn't get any cuter than this!

Arathi from Novice Decorator made a beautiful outdoor decoration
using some small clay pots and a little paint.
This is such a pretty project!

Poppy from With a Dash of Color created a beautiful St. Patrick's Day vignette.
Love her "tea" basket and all the pops of green. Beautiful!

Dana from The Starfish Studio made a fabulous sign for her bathroom beautiful chair.
Love how she used the ribbon. Very pretty!

Thank you, again, to all who took the time to participate!

ON THIS FIRST DAY OF SPRING

It is finally here!
After the rough Winter we had this year, I know we are all looking forward to warmer temperatures.
Spring has arrived!

I am in the process of giving my formal living room a complete overhaul, so I haven't had much time
to decorate for Spring, but I added a few things in the kitchen, since it is where we spent a lot of our time.

I did start by making a new burlap runner to which I added a little trim using the same fabric
from the pillows on my breakfast area.

I added one of the trays my husband made, a white pitcher with silk and burlap flowers I made
and two candle holders with two little cute birds.

And next to it, you will find the Spring dioramas I made last month.

I also made this small spring frame using some supplies I had in the craft room.

On the breakfast table, I brought back the flower centerpiece I bought at Kirklands last year.
I did change some of the flowers on it to blue and green to go better with the decor on the island.
And the birdcage is back on the window seat.

 That's it! Very simple.
But it sure makes us feel like the new season is here.
Enjoy the rest of your week!
