Hello friends!
I hope your week is going well.
Around here life has been a bit busy, but even then I have been making some small updates around the house.
You all saw our new dining room before the holidays. I pretty much didn't have any time to do anything
with it until now. The changes are small but I think I am done for now.
The first thing I did was to give the wood tray a tiny makeover.
I wanted to make it a little more interesting to look and I thought of adding fabric to the center of the tray, but then I decided to use a pretty card stock I found at Hobby Lobby so it will be easier to change it if I get tired of it.
To decorate it I used a nice crystal vase, some pretty burlap flowers I also had from Hobby Lobby and the candles
I bought for my Thanksgiving centerpiece
Did you noticed the new floor candle holders?
My son and dil gave them to me as a Christmas gift and I just love them. The pillar candles are wax flameless LED.
And finally, I made a drop cloth runner for the dining table.
That was a job and a half since the runner is eight feet long. To finish it, I added some trim to it.
I am
happy with the way it looks now so, unless I just see something that I
just got to have :), I plan to leave
this room like this for a while. What do you think?
I will be back soon to show you what I have done with the family room and kitchen area.
Enjoy the rest of your day. Stay safe and warm!

Your tray turned out so pretty and it reminds me of the wallpaper that I just added to my old pine cupboard. Everything is beautiful!
