A BETWEEN SPRING AND SUMMER PORCH

Happy Friday!
Another week almost gone. It has been a full one for me!
Looking forward to the weekend.

A couple of weeks ago, we gave the front porch, yard and flower bed the first cleaning of the year
after the long winter we had. Bushes were very overgrown and everything was just dirty.
Once everything was done I moved on to giving the porch a simple and clean look for the rest of the Spring months.

You all know about my "pillow addiction :), so, of course, I made new pillow covers with this pretty canvas
fabric from Hobby Lobby.
It was on sale, so it cost me $7.00 to make the three pillow covers.

On the small table, you will find a small old pot that I had with a boxwood ball.
Next to it, I kept my old lantern.

The pot used to be purple and was full of scratches, but I brought it back to like with a little black spray paint.

And because I knew the moment it got windy, I would be chasing the ball down the street, I put a Styrofoam ball inside the pot and held it in place with my old Fleur de Lis pick. Now I know it won't be going anywhere. I hope! :)

On the door, I have the boxwood wreath I made two weeks ago using the clipping from my bushes.
It is still holding up! Keeping my fingers crossed.

And on the side, another old flower pot brought to life with the black spray paint,
which is holding a plant I got from our local grocery for five dollars.

Total cost to put together the porch was $12.00 and a little cleaning and painting.
I think I like this simple look. Looks cleaner! LOL

Thank you all so much for stopping by and taking the time to leave me a comment. I appreciate it very much!
I wish you all have a wonderful and relaxing weekend.
