Spring is in the air!

As promised, I am sharing today my second Pottery Barn copycat.
When I received the PB catalog in the mail, everything looked so
beautiful, I just could not make up my mind, so I decided to put together
two of the ones I really liked.

The first one was the wine basket I shared with you a couple of days ago.
I actually had everything I needed to make both of the copycats
and for this one, all I had to buy was the small bunnies, which
turned out to be a real challenge!
Next year, I plan to start shopping for my Spring decor in January!

These were my inspiration pictures.

And here is my version.

I had a whole bag of eggs left from last Easter and I just used stickers for the letters.
I had planned to stencil them, but I was afraid to mess them up.
I also spelled "Spring" instead of "Happy Easter" so I can keep them up on
display for a little while longer after Easter is over.

Since it is kind of tall, I decided to display it on my kitchen window seat.

These are the bunnies I found at HL.
Nothing else left! I also used my crystal basket with two marble eggs
in the center of the vignette.

A few pink and white flowers and some spring ribbon.

Of course, I had to make my life harder and try to take pictures on front of the window!:)
Take my advice, don't ever do that unless you are an awesome photographer!
It was so hard to get some decent pictures!
This is the best I got!

This copycat challenge has been a lot of fun!

  1. Maria- That is just beautiful! I love the way it all looks and your copy cat take on the whole egg thing is just darling. I love it! I love those little marble eggs, too. They are gorgeous. It is hard to take pictures in front of a window, isn't it? I think the pictures turned out great! Happy Sunday to you! xo Diana

  2. Maria Elena, I am visiting from Cozy Little House where Brenda featured you on Friday. I love the spring eggs in your display. It inspired me to try the same on my spring eggs. :) I am so glad that I visited your blog because it is beautiful. I hope you do not mind if I copy some of your ideas. I am a retired Air Force wife and an Air Force Mom. Take care.
