Hello friends!
I hope everyone is enjoying these fabulous days of Fall
Our home has been decorated for the new season for a while now, so I figured it was time to share it
on the blog before the Christmas tree goes up. :)
on the blog before the Christmas tree goes up. :)
I have been so busy lately that I didn't have much of a chance to go browse for some new Fall decor items,
so just about everything you see in the pictures you will recognize from previous years.
Last Fall I splurged on these pillows from Kirklands, so I decided not to make new ones and use them again this year.
The mantle is pretty simple and even then it took me a whole week to figure it out. :)
I am just not good with mantles.
For the center I used the old ceramic pumpkin, some old leaf branches also from Kirklands that I had for years and two pretty frames with leaf printables that I already had in two different colors.
And on each end of the mantle I added my old candles, a vase with more of the same leaves and two lanterns
filled with white pumpkins.
On the hearth you will find the only new fall item I have purchased this year, a pretty wood sign from Kirklands.
And this is what the mantle looks like in the evening when the sun goes down.
The coffee table is simple.
A pretty fall runner and a basket with some flowers, a little pumpkin inside my old small cloche and a pretty printable that I got from Ann at On Sutton Place.
Thank you Ann!
And on the wall next to the fireplace I added the subway art frame I made last year.
And that is our fall decorated family room.
I hope you enjoyed this little tour of our living area.
We spend a lot of time in this room, so I always try to make it as cozy and warm as I can.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and for your wonderful comments.
Take care everyone!

ReplyDeleteVery pretty and elegantly done yet still warm and inviting. Well done!
ReplyDeleteLovely Fall touches! I really like your subway art print.
ReplyDeleteYour "fallish" decor looks wonderful in your living room! Hard to believe, but it was just last year that I kind of "discovered" Kirklands! I'd known the name for years. Just had not gone into one of their stores. That's where I got the great deal on the cow painting above my couch.

Love the Acorns on the mantle.
