Hello, everyone!
I feel like it has been months since I visited with all of you. :)
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas celebration with your loved ones.
Ours was very, very special and we had a great family time, although, as luck has it,
I came down with the flu the morning of the 24th.
Even then and with a fever of 102 degrees, I managed to set up a simple, but nice Christmas Eve dinner table and cook a huge dinner for eight people.
Where there is a will, there is a way. :)
We ate, talked and laughed for hours and after dinner, everyone opened their presents.
Our little Angel favorite part of the evening. LOL
She loves Christmas!
Christmas Day I was so sick that is pretty much a blur for me. LOL We all laid around in the family room all day, pillows and blankets everywhere, and my husband and the kids watch movies and ate leftovers most of the day while I slept on and off trying to get rid of this miserable feeling.
It was a wonderful Christmas, flu and all. :)
Enough talking!
Lets get ready to party!

Maria, thanks for always hosting such a great blog party for us. I appreciate all the work you put into your own posts, and I would love to have the talent to make all the items you do. So glad we met on that message board years ago. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you are well soon,

Thanks for hosting the party and HAPPY NEW YEAR! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you were ill for Christmas, Maria! I brought my youngest daughter home to nurse her through her flu over Christmas, so I know how you were feeling. I also know how happy you were to have your family with you even while you were convalescing on the sofa. I hope you're feeling better now and that you enjoy a wonderful new year.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, you poor thing! Being sick is never fun, but I cannot even begin to imagine being sick during Christmas and with your son home. I bough to your positive attitude about the whole ordeal.
