TUESDAYS AT OUR HOME #140 & FEATURES

WELCOME!

I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday weekend!
Ours was sooo nice. Lots of work, but we had a wonderful Thanksgiving family dinner.
Although it was a lot of work, it was worth seeing all our loved ones enjoying themselves.
I decorated the table as nice as I could, paying attention to all the little details.

And then I cooked for eight hours. :)

Needless to say, the turkey was not the star of the show, since this little guy had everyone wrapped
around his little finger.

And although his turkey came out of a jar, he ate with us at the table and joined in the conversation. :)

It sure was one of the best Thanksgiving day we have had in many years since we finally had
all our three children home.
And now is Monday, back to reality and chores, lots of chores! I have to put our house back together and start decorating it for Christmas.

But before all that happens, lets take a look at last week features.

Vel at Life & Home at 2102 spruced up and organized her beautiful home library. What a gorgeous space!

Marty at Marty's Musings made gorgeous rustic wood candle holders.

Judith at Botanic Bleu created an amazing Thanksgiving tablescape.

Penny at Penny's Vintage Home decorated her master bathroom in a coastal Christmas theme.
How pretty is this?

Sarah at The Gold Lining Girl shared an amazing recipe for Amaretto Pumpkin pie.

Tanya at Lemons for Lulu shared a wonderful recipe for Eggnog Ice Cream Floats.

Thank you again to all who took the time to participate!

  16. Maria, I really appreciate your style, your work ethic and your attention to detail! I'm glad you had a wonderful thanksgiving. As a new homemaker please do tell EVERYTHING you made and served for appetizers, dinner and desert? I would love to know, this is my second year hosting at my house and I'm not quiet sure what to make. Also what does your family traditionally serve for Christmas? This year I'm asking Santa to live as neighbors to you and Lori from dinning delight, you are both such wonderful women;)
